"Girl. Who else speaks English?"

Guys. I'm way sorry that I'm a loser.  Last week I actually wrote a letter… a good one. And then my computer crashed. Van a disculpar.

My new friends in my new area.  We have so much fun!

Shoutouts!!

Birthdays…

MIKEL. This girl is havin' babies all over the place. When I get home, i'm gonna have to meet so many cousins.. cousins? Are your kids my cousins? Either way. Feliz Cumple!!

Gpa. Brent. ;-). If there is anyone that has been unexpectedly checking up on me every now and then my entire misión (..or life..) it is this amazing guy. Happy Birthday! Eat lots of German Chocolate cake for me, will ya?

Austin Pacheco!!! Shoot. I cant believe its already been a year since we were celebrating your birthday in the MTC. I hope it was awesome, celebrate celebrate! :-)

ALSO. Jojola hit 7 months  on the misión yesterday! I love her so hard.
  Hermana Jojola and I.

ANND…. I JUST GOT A BAPTISM INVITATION FOR A BAPTISM THAT HAPPENED A COUPLE WEEKS AGO BUT IM STILL WAY HAPPY!!! CONGRATULATIONS ANDIE!! You pretty girl, I loved the invitation!! She is a beauty :-) muah!

As for the missión..

Okay so I'm trying so hard to adjust to my new area and companion quickly and I think.. it's working. Haha

The thing is that… its getting SO. HOT.

I'm having the hardest time even sleeping at night. The fact that I now live with 4 hermanas instead of just 2 and we all sleep in the same room and I've got a top bunk definitely doesn't help with the heat.

2 weeks ago, when I was with Hermana Jojola, I woke up at 2:30 AM just SWEATING...  to the point where i just got up and showered. And our shower is outside.. so when I came back in the room.. Hermana Jojola was like..

".. um. Who are you…" like so scared.. hahaha

And i'm like.. "It's me."

Her: "… who's me..?"

Me:  "… girl. Who else speaks English?"

Her: "… oh."

 Santa Cruz, Bolivia

Last Monday night, there was a leaders conference here in Santa Cruz. So all of the Sister Training Leaders came from all over the mission to go the meeting. I live with the 2 sister training leaders of my area, so when they got home from the meeting Monday night, I casually open the apartment door and there with them is HERMANA ELLISON.

And she screams and I scream and we hug and she's like..

"YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE FROM OUR GROUP THAT I HAVEN'T SEEN MY WHOLE MISSION!!"

And I'm like..

"…girl. YOU ARE THE FIRST HERMANA I'VE SEEN FROM OUR GROUP SINCE I SET FOOT IN BOLIVIA. AND THAT WAS A YEAR AGO."

I couldn't believe that it had already been a year since I'd seen her! It was REALLY good to see her again.

I'm in the area GUARACAL, en la estaka CAÑOTO. (Canoto Stake)
I burned my hand last week.  An iron fell on it.... :-(
This is what it looks like today.  Ha!  It's getting better.

This area is a Little harder. In LA PAMPA,  I felt like Jojola and I were always teaching progressing investigators. Here… we're looking for investigators. :-)

A picture I drew for a FHE Lesson we had.

Saturday, the members and us put together an awesome activity to find ourselves some new investigators. We met and got all the old Liahonas that nobody was using and folletos and we all went out and talked to people. We had so much success!
And the members loved it and they had such deep desires to share the Gospel. They were so excited, and they want to do it every month now. It really was amazing how many people we talked to and how many references we got. Even if the references were in other areas, it was so awesome to share the gospel like that with the members. They are really amazing.

I'm really happy. I really am. God always sends me where He wants me :-).  I'm so grateful to be a missionary – hands down, THE best decision I've ever made in my life.

Have a good week!! Thanks for the support I get. You're all amazing.

I love you all!

Love,

Hermana Cedeno

Emergency Transfer 10/20/2014

We had an "emergency transfer" on Friday. and I'm not in La Pampa anymore.... cambios were supposed to be tomorrow. but they switched me on Friday way unexpectedly because one of the Sisters was having back problems, so they moved her and moved me into her spot.... it was soo hard.

Just so you know. I'm in a barrio called "GUARACAL".

But I was totally preparing to say goodbye to people all week. I mean.. c´mon. I knew I was leaving. I'd been there almost 5 months!!!  But I was preparing to say goodbye especially to hna. Jojola and Elder Sarasty. ESPECIALLY ELDER SARASTY because he leaves to Colombia on Wednesday. But when they told me, I just looked over at Hermana Jojola and she just starts tearing up like way hard core and then we both cried.

My new companion Hermana Briviesca, she is from California.
The view from my new apartment
When I mailed my letters from Central last Monday with Hermana Jojola!

That was at about 10 am. and I was out of there by 3:00. Hermana Jojola and I cried a lot. I didn't have time to say goodbye to everyone I would've liked to, but I said goodbye to Roberto, Kenia and their baby (my pensionista's family) and I gave their baby my build-a-bear. I gave them Boris.
I also said goodbye to Lola.   Remember I told you a bit about Lola?  She got baptized on Thursday.  What a blessing, because we tried SO hard to convince her to get baptized on Saturday, and she insisted on Thursday.  If we would've done it Saturday.. I wouldn't have been there. I love her.

I wrote a really long email but it just got deleted and I don't have any more time to write!  I'm so annoyed!

I love you all!

Love,

Hermana Cedeno
